BMW has unlocked the configurator for the 2023 M2. Those who live in the US and want to get their hands on the hot latest version of Bimmer can start building it.

There’s a price to be paid, of course, and for this year the most expensive build is $10,000 more than the M2 Competition from 2018.

The BMW M2 2023 starts at $62,200 (without destination fees). Choosing the popular Alpine White and Zandvoort Blue doesn’t cost a penny, but choosing a metallic color, like the Toronto Red Metallic of our build, costs an extra $650. The wheel option is free of charge.

Meanwhile, leather is the main seat option for the 2023 M2 without the need for additional payments. However, the black Merino Skin with M color highlights will require you to add the Carbon Pack, which costs $9,900. This package includes an M carbon roof, carbon fiber interior trim and M carbon bucket seats but will be available in March 2023.

Complementing the rest of the optional packages, the Shadowline package, which adds black exterior elements and exhaust tips, and the Lighting package, which adds adaptive full LED headlights and automatic high beams, add $300 and $650, respectively.

There are many options for 2023 M2 and of course, we will take them all. Active Cruise Control adds $550 and takes away your chance to get a stick-shift BMW M2. Among the most expensive options you can add is the Live Cockpit Pro with Head-up Display which costs $1,100.

Together with Remote Engine Start, Heated Steering Wheel, Parking Assistant, Wireless Device Charging, Personal eSIM 5G, and a destination fee of $995, the final configuration costs a total of $77,545.
