A new trick is spreading to fill up your scooter with just 5 euros: here’s how it works and why it’s illegal.
With the expensive petrol different solutions are being sought in order to save as much as possible even in the face of the increases in prices that await us again from the month of December.
Naturally, the truly effective solutions are always the same: maintain a constant pace, don’t stress the engine with sudden accelerations and too high gears and in general try to have a taxi driver behaviordesigned precisely for the purpose of increasing the level of autonomy of the car or scooter.
Unfortunately, the widespread habit is also to find ideas and tricks that go to the detriment of petrol stations with illegal methods. One of these is spreading rapidly among forums and social networks and is being studied in particular by scooter riders who would like to fill up for just…5 euros.
The illegal trick that allows you to fill up with 5 euros
Let’s take a user’s post directly explaining this alleged method:
“Guys I think everyone here has problems with the scooter that consumes too much. I recommend a trick that perhaps many know to get petrol out of the pump even if there is no money. After putting in the usual 5 euros, always checking that the gas station is not there, start jumping on the pump tube (for this you will need a friend who jumps) so that the petrol comes out considerably. Fill up and if you want, do it for your friend too, but once you run out of 5 euros of petrol, don’t put the pump back on, if you’ve never done it, give it a try. Good fun!”
We should immediately point out that obviously such a method is totally illegal because, even if it worked, it would be a real gas theft towards the filling station. An action therefore that would have legal consequences if you were caught.
It is no coincidence that among the other people who have commented on the post from which we took this suggestion, doubts and pessimism are spreading. Not to mention the fear of being caught by the cameras, which are now present in almost all service stations, and which would easily get the geniuses of this method into trouble.
We add that the pump mechanism it does not allow more petrol to flow out than that actually paid for: therefore jumping on the pump would risk not only making you look bad, but also making a futile effort with the risk of getting hurt.
In short, we all agree that the price of gasoline has skyrocketed and with a further increase to comebut rather than looking for illegal methods, it is better to find ways to save money intelligently.
