I am using it mostly the elderly who need restraint during the march, or when entering or leaving the passenger compartment. Many will have noticed that this handle is not on the driver’s side.
The choice is not random and does not aim at savings. The handle is missing because if you drive, your hands are on the wheel, so the handle is totally useless. At most, if you need to lean on, to get on or off, you can do it directly on the steering wheel.

But be careful, there is a detail that surely no one, or few will have noticed, which has to do with the door itself. There is a button on it, this helps to lock the handle when not needed. In some cars the handles in question are fixed, in others they fold up when the when the passenger hangs on and releases them. This happens especially in Volkswagens.
Anyone who doesn’t use them in this way considers them essential, because there is a hook attached to the handles, which is used to hang clothes, for example when you don’t want to crease jackets or clothes or want to keep them intact and in order, perfectly ironed for a reception.
