Moldy Audi 200 Receives First Wash In 15 Years And Looks Great Ever After

The Audi 200 is a stylish sedan from the late 1980s and early 90s. The one in this video starts in rough shape but receives a deep clean that brings the car back to life.

First things first with this Audi. There is moss growing on his body, so the clip begins with a deep clean of soap and water. It’s just that the work goes a long way towards rejuvenating the appearance of the car, but this clip doesn’t stop there.

The original owner donated a set of wheels with a V-shaped spoke pattern instead of the original design. The team details them one by one and makes them shine again. Even the spare tire gets some attention.

Audi’s interior isn’t much better than its exterior. The floor mat goes out for washing, pressure washing, and vacuuming. With the upholstery removed, there is full access to clean dark blue rugs. It looks good. Steam helped restore the steering wheel to look new.

Despite the moldy exterior, the engine remains mechanically strong. At the end of the video, the engine barks to life and then to silence. The dashboard gauges are also still working. The Audi 200 was the brand’s flagship product in the United States before the arrival of the V8 sedan. Buyers can get it as a four-door or five-door coach. They are available with a version of Audi’s venerable in-line five-cylinder engine. Briefly, a 20-valve variant of the turbocharged factory was available producing an impressive 217 horsepower (162 kilowatts) for the time.
