It’s the season, people. Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Bodhi’s Day, or one of the many other special holidays this time of year, party wear is generally part of the experience. On that front, Mopar is back with another ugly sweater that’s guaranteed to warm your automotive heart, figuratively and literally. And it brings friends.
Joining the sweater are two pairs of matching socks, in the same red-white-blue color with a dash of black to ensure the Mopar branding stands out as you rest by the fireplace. The snowflakes, stripes, and checkered patterns were printed on the socks, but the sweater added Hey into the sleeve and across the piston to the upper chest. In the center is a large round Christmas tree decorated with more Mopar branding. Too bad you can’t hang it on a tree. Actually, you can.
There are lots of holiday items from Mopar this year and yes, there are blue ornaments available like the ones on the sweaters. It’ll set you back $8.95, and if you want to give it as a gift, you can buy Mopar holiday wrapping paper. Mopar says the scroll is large enough to wrap nine medium-sized gifts, but it’s a bit pricey for something destined to be crumpled up and tossed around the halls for the cats to play with. A roll costs $49.95, but it gives you paper with special graphics and gridlines on the back so you can make straight cuts. It looks great.
Don’t like wacky holiday colors and patterns? Mopar offers hosts “normal” items too, from drinkware to backpacks and cold weather clothing are a bit more suitable for wearing in public. As for the ugly sweater, it’s medium knit and retails for $79.95 – a little more than the first Mopar sweater we saw in 2020. The socks come in a two-pair pack, made of 100 percent jacquard and are priced at $29.95
