2023 Toyota Crown Configurator Up, Max Over $56,500

With the Avalon dead for the 2023 model year, the Crown takes its place in Toyota’s solid lineup. This marked the return of the moniker to the United States after a decades-long absence. While the plan is to have the entire Crown-badged model family at home in Japan, only the higher-end sedan will be available in North America. After the prices were announced at the end of October, the configurator is now up and running on the company’s website.

The base XLE trim level starts at $39,950 and is followed by the Midrange Limited from $45,550. Top range platinum will run you $52,350 before options. One way to splurge on your build is to opt for a swanky two-tone paint. Toyota charges an additional $975 for this bronze and black combo, but you can also combine those dark surfaces with white, gray, or red.

The configuration is pretty simple for a 2023 Crown if you go for the top-of-the-range Platinum as there are no optional plans available. That said, there are accessories that vary from all-weather floor mats to door edge guards. Owners can also spend money on illuminated door sills ($345) and front side flood lights ($165). Miscellaneous items include fenders ($149), rear bumper appliqué ($69), and paint protection film ($439) for the bonnet fenders, mirror caps, and door covers.

The 2023 Toyota Crown configuration also gives customers the option of using door edge guards, trunk mats, first aid kits, key covers, and storage solutions such as totes and nets. With every possible option added to the build, you will spend over $56,500 after accounting for a $1,095 destination, processing, and handling fee.
