2023 Cadillac CT5-V Drops These Three Paint Colors

The 2023 model year represents the third for the performance-oriented Cadillac CT5-V luxury sedan, and Cadillac Society has learned that it has lost the three exterior paint colors previously available for the 2022 model year.

The following three colors, which were considered premium options at an additional cost, will no longer be available for the Cadillac CT5-V for the 2023 model year (relevant paint codes are listed in parentheses):

  • Infrared Tintcoat (GSK)
  • Metallic Shadows (GJI)
  • Satin Steel Metal (G9K)

Shadow Metallic costs an additional $625 to top the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V, opting for Satin Steel Metallic adds an additional $625 to the sedan’s price, while Infrared Tintcoat is the most expensive exterior paint option at $1,225.

Meanwhile, the 2023 model year will bring the following three colors to the Cadillac CT5-V (the relevant paint codes are listed in brackets):

  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT), $1,225 option
  • Argent Silver Metallic (GXD), $625 option
  • Midnight Steel Metallic (GXU), $625 option

It should be noted that all of these exterior colors are exclusive to the Cadillac CT5-V and no the superior Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing super sedan.

As a reminder, the Cadillac CT5-V draws its spirit from the marque’s luxurious 3.0L V6 turbocharged engine (production code LGY), tuned to produce a healthy 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, bolted to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Power is channeled to the two rear wheels (RWD) or all four wheels (AWD). Production of the performance-oriented CT5-V coexists with the regular CT5 line-up with the CT5-V Blackwing at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
