Cadillac has issued a Service Update for select 2023 Cadillac XT6 units to address a potential split in the outer body panels.
Problem: Select 2023 model year Cadillac XT6s may have a slit in the outer body panel above the left rear window. The split will likely occur in a recessed area from the sheet metal just above the glass to the body seal.
The danger: if there are any cracks in the outer body panels, they may cause moisture to build up.
Repair: the dealer will inspect the outer body panels, and if necessary, remove the glass, weld, and paint. The rear quarter panel will then be repaired.

- Outer body panels
- Left rear quarter panel window
Affected vehicles: 2023 Cadillac XT6.
Number of affected vehicles: Cadillac hasn’t indicated how many XT6 units may be affected by this issue.
