Cameras have already arrived in Rome, which have been mounted on some streets with the aim of guaranteeing safety for everyone, motorists, motorcyclists and pedestrians.
These cameras are not simple video surveillance cameras, they can reconstruct crimes or serve as evidence for infringements of any kind, for example for speeding or using lanes not designed for cars or motorbikes.
Especially to be targeted are all motorists who use the preferential lanes, on which only vehicles used for the transport of people can travel, for example NCCs, taxis, ambulances, medical cars, police cars and all means of local public transport.
A ban is placed on the fast lane which is impossible not to notice, the table is located at the very entrance to the lane. In Rome, signs are not enough, motorists know the law but by their own choice they do not respect it.
Where were the cameras placed and what is the risk
Here because the administration has decided to invest in video camerasand which have already been installed in the following streets.
The cameras are located in viale Libia, viale Eritrea, via Emanuele Filiberto, via Cicerone, via Vittorio Colonna, via Volturno, via dei Fori Imperiali, via Laurentina and finally on Lungotevere dei Sangallo.
Administration informs motorists, motorcyclists etc., that these devices are active 24 hours a day, every day, even on public holidays. So whoever invades the lanes reserved for public transport will soon receive one fine ranging from 88 to 333 euros.
