After the 2023 model year, the first-generation Cadillac XT4 will receive a mid-cycle refresh. Originally slated for the 2022 model year, the refresh was first pushed back to the 2023 model year and then to the 2024 model due to the setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic that followed. We saw the 2024 Cadillac XT4 prototype for the first time back in June. Then in September, we saw a prototype that better demonstrated the new front fascia design.

The 2019 through 2023 Cadillac XT4 features one drivetrain option in North America – a turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), with 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It bolts to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission.

Production of the XT4 took place at the Cadillac Fairfax Plant in Kansas. The 2023 Cadillac XT4 starts rolling off the assembly line on June 10th2022.
