Ducati will present the new MotoGP and SBK teams on Monday 23 January in Madonna di Campiglio, in the Dolomites, during the event entitled Wroooom. After an exciting 2022 season, we start again with the official presentations. On one side Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini, on the other Alvaro Bautista and Michael Rinaldi. The two champions will have to choose the number to put on the liveries of their respective bikes.
In recent days, the Borgo Panigale manufacturer held a photoshoot with its standard bearers, therefore I’m sorry Bagnaia has already decided which number to adopt. The announcement will only be made tomorrow, but an image of the rider from Chivasso paired with the number 1 appeared on the official Ducati website during Saturday evening. A spoiler or a media error? We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to be sure…

In the World Cup Superbikes Ducati didn’t give a chance to the big Kawasaki (with Jonathan Rea) and Yamaha (with Toprak Razgatlioglu): Alvaro Bautista he has collected 16 victories and has taken over from Carlos Checa, the last rider to win the factory-derived championship astride a Ducati in 2011. The Spanish rider is also expected to adopt the number 1 in the next WorldSBK which will be branded on his Panigale V4R. In recent weeks he has launched a survey through social media to his followers on the number to choose. In any case, the number 1 will be present on his bike, alone or as part of his now customary 19.
