The Alfa Romeo Giulia is a stylish four-door car. However, this Italian sedan isn’t just about looks; its Quadrifoglio version comes with a power figure to support that sporty style – and the Autobahn’s top speed, courtesy AutoTopNL is proof of that.
Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio is a true sports sedan. With a 503 horsepower (375 kilowatt) 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, this car can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in just 3.9 seconds. This mill produces 443 pound-feet (600 Newton-meters) of torque, sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

But perhaps the main point to talk about in relation to the video is the top speed. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio has a top speed of 191 mph (307 km/h), making it an open road driving sensation. However, the driver in the video above fails to reach those speeds on an unrestricted section of the Autobahn. It only tops out at 173 mph (278 km/h), which is a bit short but still an impressive feat.
Despite the paint scheme (or stickers?) and Akrapovic exhaust, the Giulia QV in the video above looks like stock. It sounds fierce, too, especially when turned on, but the noise insulation manages to suppress the high-octane symphony at high speeds.
Giulia Quadrifoglio proves that it has the speed and power to compete with other luxury sports cars on the market. It competes with other high-performance luxury sports sedans such as the BMW M3 and Mercedes-AMG C63S. In fact, our Turkish counterpart pitted the Giulia QV against the AMG C63S (albeit in coupe form) back in 2018 to see which was quicker in the straight-line contest.
The future of Alfa Romeo Giulia is uncertain, as the automaker has yet to announce any specific plans for its next-generation vehicle. However, converting it to a hybrid vehicle could be scrapped as Alfa Romeo’s head of product, Daniel Guzzafame, took note and said that the next-generation model arriving later this decade “most likely” will have a pure electric powertrain. .
