2024 Cadillac XT6 Introduces New Bronze Package

Posted on

The 2024 Cadillac XT6 arrives as the fourth model year of the first generation of the luxury crossover, bringing only minor tweaks and updates over the 2023 model year. However, the 2024 XT6 does offer a few new exterior accent packages, including the Red Accent Package, Blue Accent Package, and Accent Package Bronze. Here’s an in-depth review of the elements included in the latter, the Bronze Accents Package.

The Bronze Accent Package (production code PDJ) is an LPO level (dealer installed) option offered exclusively on the 2024 Cadillac XT6 Sport, meaning it is not available on the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims. Priced at $2,995, the package incorporates the following content (relevant production codes are listed in brackets):

  • Bronze body sticker, LPO (SB9)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblem, PUT (SFZ)
  • Wheels Gloss Black 20 inch, LPO (S2K)
  • Bronze wheel center cap, LPO (5ZD)
  • Black wheel nut, LPO (SPY)
  • Black wheel lock, LPO (SPZ)
  • Tire Pressure Monitor, LPO (SD5)

The Black wheels included in the package replace the stock wheels on the XT6 Sport, namely 12-inch 12-spoke Diamond Cut wheels with pockets of Dark Android Satin finish (production code Q6N).

Also, the Bronze Accent Pack cannot be combined with the optional Onyx Pack (production code PDB) or Onyx Lite (build code PCP) pack.

As a reminder, there are two engine options available for the 2024 Cadillac XT6. The first is a naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. This machine is standard on Premium Luxury and Sport models and can be identified by the 400 logo on the lift doors.

The second is a turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), which produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is offered exclusively in the base Luxury trim, and the liftgate wears a 350T badge to identify the four upgraded ones. Both engines bolt to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission.
