Danish sports car manufacturer Zenvo Automotive made headlines a few years ago with its wild active wing TSR-S that behaves like a contortionist. The new TSR-GT adopted a fixed rear wing and served as the swan song for the TS lineup while serving as a low-speed, low-drag descent. Changes to the body make this hypercar as smooth as possible to unlock a higher top speed than the previous TS-based derivatives.
As well as aero improvements – which include a longer rear wing and aero wheel disc covers – the TSR-GT also sports a much more powerful engine. Twin-supercharged (yes, twins) The V8 has a displacement of 5.8 liters and produces a massive 1,360 horsepower. Compatible with E85 fuel, the flat-plane engine produces an extra 183 hp compared to the output available in the standard TSR-S.

Thanks to the longer final drives of the in-house helical-cut dog-engagement transmission, the car can reach an electronically controlled top speed of 263 mph (424 km/h). As a refresher, the TSR-S, which was geared for track use, reached a top speed of “just” 202 mph (325 km/h).
As its name implies, the TSR-GT is more of a grand tourer, which is why the TSR-S’s carbon fiber interior has given way to a more luxurious cabin in a variety of leather finishes. Zenvo has also created new velor floor mats (with leather edges) that they say reduce inside noise.
Only three handcrafted cars will be released and all have been sold for an unspecified price. The GT follows the original track-only TSR from 2016 and the subsequent TS1 GT and TSR-S hypercars. The latter will remain in production for now.
The all-new model is slated to hit the market in the third quarter of 2023. Zenvo says it will use a V12 engine with twin electric turbochargers for 1,200 hp, plus electric motors to bring the combined output to 1,500 hp or possibly more. of 1,800 hp.
