Mistakes that led to raging controversy by the press and the fans towards the Scuderia which was not deemed up to fight with Red Bull but also with Mercedescoming out of the quagmire of difficulties that had involved her at the beginning of the season.
The same Matthias Binottovia the press release issued by Ferrari, declared: “With the regret that this entails, I have decided to end my collaboration with Ferrari. I thank all the people at the Gestione Sportiva who have shared this journey with me, made up of difficulties but also of great satisfaction“.
Ferrari informs that it has started the process of identifying the new Team Principalwhose name will probably be communicated in 2023.
Barring sensational twists and turns, the chosen name should be that of the French Frederic Vasseurcurrent Team Principal of Alfa-Romeo Sauber: a man of the track who could receive the opportunity of his life in the year in which Ferrari is called to fight, at least until the last race, to regain a World Drivers’ title that Maranello lacks since 2007.
In these days illustrious names have also made themselves such as that of Ross Brawntechnical director of the Scuderia at the time Schumacher and who has been leading the Formula 1 project since 2017 as general manager and sports manager. However, Brawn himself has announced his intention to leave starting from 2023.
