The 2023 Subaru WRX Is Up Slightly Over Last Year’s Price, Starting At $31,625

Subaru has officially revealed the price of the WRX, which saw a slight increase for the 2023 model year. What’s more, the destination rates for the performance sedan are up, if only slightly.

For the 2023 model year, the fifth-generation Subaru WRX starts at $31,625 for the Basic trim. This includes a six-speed manual gearbox, connected to a turbocharged 2.4-liter Boxer engine producing 271 horsepower (202 kilowatts) and 258 pound-feet (349 Newton-meters) of torque, standard across the range. Also standard for the WRX lineup is Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.

For the WRX Base trim with the automatic Subaru Performance Transmission (SPT) the price increases to $33,475. It adds EyeSight driver assistance technology with advanced adaptive cruise control to its equipment list, along with automatic vehicle hold, paddle shifters, SI-Drive and electronic parking brake.

Meanwhile, opting for the WRX Premium guarantees $34,125 for the MT variant, which will come with a set of 18-inch alloy wheels in dark gray with summer tires, LED fog lights, low-profile rear spoiler in matching body color. and the automatic light on/off is linked to the operation of the windshield wipers. Add $1,875 to this price tag and you’ve got an 11-speaker Harman Kardon system and a powerful moonroof.

The WRX Limited has a starting price of $38,515 for the MT variant, which should come with more standard equipment such as steering-responsive LED headlights and side mirrors with integrated turn signals.

The top-spec WRX GT, with standard electronically controlled dampers and automatic SPT, has a price tag of $44,415. This variant also features Recaro Performance Design front seats trimmed in black Ultrasuede with contrasting red stitching and an embossed “Recaro” logo on the seat backs.

All prices listed here include a $1,020 destination and delivery fee, which is up from $995 from last year’s price.
