Traveling on the highway is, obviously, the fastest way to move from one part of our country to another by car. However, motorists often complain about the presence of too many road construction sites to travel the motorway remains the most practical solution for travelling.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini, tried to turn off the criticism of this movewith these words: “We have avoided an increase of almost 5%. In our country, the increases on the affected sections are lower than inflation”.

The various tolls on the stretches of road managed by the Autostrade per l’Italia company increased by 2% starting from 1 January. But that’s not all. In fact, a note from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure underlines how from July 1st there will be a further increase. It will stand on the1.34%.
