As ongoing supplier issues continue to negatively impact the automotive industry, Cadillac Society we have now learned that certain wheel options for the 2023 Cadillac XT6 are currently under constraints.
Two of the three affected wheels are LPO-grade options, meaning they were installed by dealers rather than when the luxury crossover hit the assembly line. All wheel options affected are as follows (relevant production codes are listed in brackets):
- 20 inch Chrome Wheel, LPO (S1T)
- 20 inch Gloss Black Wheels, LPO (S2K)
- 21-inch 12-Split Spoke alloy wheels with Diamond Android finish (RPW)

21-inch 12-Split Spoke alloy wheels with Diamond Android finish (RPW)
As a standalone option priced at $3,095, the 20-inch Chrome wheels are not currently available to order on the 2023 Cadillac XT6 Luxury and Premium Luxury, while still being offered on the Sport trim. These wheels are also included as part of the Radiant Package (production code PDV), which is offered on the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims. However, this package is currently not available to order.
Meanwhile, the 20-inch Gloss Black wheels are faced with a similar obstacle, and are not available for the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, but are still offered in Sport. These optional standalone wheels are priced at $2,495, and are also included as part of the Onyx Package, priced at $4,895 for Luxury and Premium Luxury and $3,695 for Sport. However, this plan is no longer available since late 2022.
As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac XT6 is available with two engine options. The first is a naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production designation LGX), with 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. This machine is standard on Premium Luxury and Sport models and can be identified by the 400 logo on the lift doors.
The second is a turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), which produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The engine is offered exclusively in the base Luxury trim, and the liftgate wears a 350T badge to identify the upgraded four. Both engines bolt to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission. Production of this luxury crossover occurs at the Spring Hill factory in Tennessee for all markets except China.
