Insiders claim that the McLaren 750S will debut in April as a replacement for the 720S, according Automotive News. The new model will allegedly use a 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 740 horsepower (552 kilowatts) instead of the 710 hp (529 kW) of its predecessor vehicle.
“It’s not as extreme as the 765, but it’s a bit more aggressive than the 720,” the source says of the 750S styling. We will allegedly see a teaser for the new model in late February.

The cabin reportedly has a floating tablet infotainment screen in a style similar to that of the Artura. The switches for changing the suspension and drive modes are allegedly on the instrument cluster bezel.
At the product launch, the coupe and convertible variants will launch at the same time, rather than launching them by surprise at different times. McLaren won’t be making a long-tail variant, according to this person. Prices are expected to start at around $342,000.

McLaren America president Nicolas Brown offered some hints about the 750S in January. He called it “a refinement of the 720”, and said: “This is not an all-new, next-generation ground-up vehicle.” Even though it hasn’t debuted yet, Brown indicated the 750S is already sold out by the end of 2024.
McLaren recently announced a partnership with Lockheed Martin Skunk Works. The automaker wants to adapt the aerospace company’s design software to shape the supercar of the future. It’s unclear whether the 750S will be one of the vehicles that will benefit from this collaboration
Beyond the 750S, there have been rumors of McLaren building an electric SUV. The company says it’s being considered, but no final decision has been made. A sedan might be on the cards too.
McLaren also allegedly signed a memorandum of understanding with BMW last year with the aim of collaborating on an electric vehicle architecture specifically for sports cars. Unfortunately, there are no other details about what they have planned or when products using this platform will arrive.
