The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ was revealed earlier this month, answering the call for a full-size luxury SUV with an electric heart. As to be expected of a vehicle wearing the iconic nameplate, the Escalade IQ offers a host of premium options and features, such as the all-new Executive Second-Row Seating Package, which hasn’t been offered on the Escalade before now. Below, Cadillac Society breaks down exactly what this package adds to the Escalade IQ.
As a reminder, the base 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ boasts three rows of seating to accommodate seven passengers as standard. This setup consists of two seats in the front row, two seats in the second row, and a three-seat bench in the third row. Opting for the Executive Second-Row Seating Package doesn’t change the seating configuration, but instead adds quite a few features for second-row passengers.
These features include a pair of 12.6-inch touch screens mounted on the back of the front-row seats, allowing passengers to easily access in-vehicle infotainment features, along with a rear command center screen, which is situated on the center console between the second-row seats. The package also adds dual wireless smartphone charging pads for smartphones, as well as USB-C and HDMI ports for connectivity. A set of stowaway tray tables is also added, while the seats themselves feature massage functions, as well as speakers incorporated into the headrests as part of the vehicle’s 40-speaker AKG Studio Reference audio system.
The Executive Second-Row Seating Package will be offered on the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ as part of the Luxury 2 and Sport 2 equipment groups. At the time of this writing, pricing for this specific package has not been released.
However, we do know that the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ will start at $130,000, including destination and freight charges. Production will commence in the summer of 2024 at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant, now known as Factory Zero, in Michigan. As for power, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ features a 200 kWh 24-module battery pack capable of delivering 450 miles of range on a single charge while boasting a two-motor eAWD configuration good for up to 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque.
